Did you wait until the last minute to buy a gift for some new or expectant parents in your life? Or are you just looking to add on to what you've already purchased and looking for some creative ideas? Well look no further, here is a list of items that would be great options.
Citi Collective Diaper Bag
You already know that this is at the top of the list. While our Christmas shipping deadline has passed for website orders, you can still order directly from our Amazon store with many items available via Prime, which means they can get to you very fast! Our bags are designed by parents for parents. With unisex design, one of our bags would make an excellent gift for any new or expected parent. You can never go wrong with our Unisex designed Citi Explorer in Black, Citi Explorer in Vintage Tan or the CIti Navigator in Saddle Brown.
Caraway Home Bakeware Set
This is a favorite set of mine, not only is it pretty, it comes with an organizer! I really began to worry more about non-toxic cooking once I had kids and this was a set I could really get into. Make healthier baking a piece of cake with the Caraway ceramic-coated bakeware. The Bakeware Set includes 11 pieces, all featuring a toxin-free ceramic surface, so you can get to baking goods without any of the bads. Sets include storage organizers to keep your kitchen tidy.
Homemade Coupons For After Baby's Arrival
Any parents know that there is a major adjustment to parent life! Make some personalized coupons and rather than just offering to babysit or hold the baby, give them some coupons for items such as: doing the laundry, cleaning, taking an overnight shift so they can get some some rest. If they have other children, a coupon that entails an activity with their other children.
One of the most valuable gifts you can give someone is your time. Don’t be offended if they don’t take you up on your offer, just be there for them when they need it.
Also, this is useful whether someone has a newborn or a 1 year old, don’t feel like it’s too late. Although at 1, they might take you up on babysitting for a night out :).
Restaurant Gift Card (Preferably one with delivery)
Get them a gift card to a local restaurant to take the burden of cooking off their plate when they need it. And even better if it’s from somewhere that offers delivery so they don’t have to worry about pick-up. It’s always good to support a local business but if you’re not sure exactly what they like or they don’t live near you, an option like Door Dash or Grubhub can really come in handy!
Grill Masters Club Box
Do one of the parents love to grill in the house? It can be hard to think of new foods to eat and very easy to fall into a rut in the kitchen in the starting days of being a new parent. Give them the gift of a collection of BBQ items they can enjoy and try out some new flavors within the Grill Masters BBQ Box. The box includes spices, recipes, sauces and all are oh so delicious and perfectly curated. This one is available on Amazon so you can be sure to get it in time for Christmas day.
Subscription for a Streaming Service
I don’t know about you guys, but there was a lot more time spent on the couch and hanging out at home during the new parent phase than ever before. Make that time a little more enjoyable by gifting them a few months of streaming services! Let them decide what they watch when they want. It will be the gift that keeps on giving. As a cute idea, you could print out a digital gift card and then wrap it with a box of popcorn as the full package. Thinking of services such as Netflix, Disney +, Hulu and many others.
Personal Back Massager
While a massage gift card is very nice gift that I personally received as a new mom, I think it took a good 18 months before I actually used it because finding the kind of time to commit to that wasn’t going to happen for quite awhile. Get the new parents in your life something they can use at home like this one pictured above. And if you want to double it up, match it with this one that will massage their lower back as well.
Hope this list helps you if you’ve waited a little too long to pick up a gift! Let us know what you end up going with. But also, we really recommend the diaper bags for a top gift. They're great ones for all parents.
